BEARD AND MUSTACHE CHAMPIONSHIP
But known as “The World Beard and Moustache Championship,” this is a competition that has been organized since 2004 by the World Beard and Mustache Association (WBMA). The tournament takes place in a new venue each year, and this event brings a competition with several categories of types of differing beards, such as: Best Mustache, Partial Beard and Fullbeard.
Buzkashi
The Buzkashi is a sport that uses horses, much like Polo, but instead of using a ball this modality uses a headless goat carcass. The goal of the players in this peculiar sport is to take the carcass and take to the opponent’s field. Strange as this sport may seem to us, it is very common in Central Asian countries.
DIVING IN THE SWAMP
The sport Swamp Diving appeared in Llanwrtyd Wells, Great Britain. In it, competitors have to cross and go back swimming in the mud of a stinking swamp. To help, competitors use snokel and fins. Now it’s easy right!!! Kkk
CHEESE RACE
Every year the British perform the strange cheese rush. The championship consists of throwing Gloucester Cheeses on top of a hill and competitors must follow the cheese path to the end of the hill. Guess what the winners win in this competition??? The cheese is clear!
DISPUTE WITH THE TOES
The National Toe Fighting Championship has been around since 1970 in Wetton, England. The championship is basically a “fall of arms” with your toes. Whoever touches the side plate between the feet loses. In the dispute with the toes there are categories for men and women. Now it’s fair! Kkk
CALCIO FIORENTINO
Calcio Fiorentino is a competition that existed in Italy before 1530 and was possibly one of the sports that inspired football and rugby, some call it “historical football”. The game takes place on a sand field, where the game is played by two teams of 27 people, the match lasts for 50 minutes. The goal of this game is to put the ball into the opponent’s net. If the player gets injured there is no replacement. Follow the game Galvão…
UNDERWATER RUGBY
Everyone has heard of Rugby, but what about underwater rugby? So this is a modality invented in Germany around 1960. Although it has the same name as the famous game its rules are quite different. In Underwater Rugby there are 6 players on each side, the game takes place in a pool 6 meters deep and the ball can not reach the surface. Anyone who lets them in loses.
Bossaball
Bossaball is a sport that mixes Volleyball, Football, Gymnastics and a bit of Capoeira. What a friend… kkk The format closely resembles the futevôlei, but the sport is played on top of an inflatable mattress and trampolines, all this is separated by a hammock. The goal of the game is to make the ball drip on the opponent’s field.
WIFE CARRYING
Wife Carrying World Championships is a competition that exists in Finland, where male competitors have to cross an obstacle course with their partners on their backs. The winner is the one who makes the course in less time with his dignitary on his back. Teammates don’t have to be legally married. I don’t know if that helps. Kkk
